By using EduConnect ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

EduConnect is an educational platform that allows users to:

  • Access academic materials including notes, exams, and past papers
  • Upload and sell academic materials
  • Join study groups and collaborate with peers
  • Use AI tutor features for learning assistance
3. User Accounts
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your account credentials with others
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Platform
4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload or share copyrighted material without permission
  • Post inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any illegal activities
5. Content Ownership
  • Users retain ownership of the content they upload
  • By uploading content, you grant EduConnect a license to display and distribute it
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload content
  • EduConnect may remove content that violates these terms
6. Payments and Fees
  • Material prices range from KES 10 to KES 20
  • EduConnect charges a 10% commission on sales
  • Payments are processed through Paystack and M-Pesa
  • Withdrawals are subject to a minimum amount of KES 1
7. Termination

EduConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in inappropriate behavior.

8. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. EduConnect does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of content uploaded by users.

9. Limitation of Liability

EduConnect shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

10. Changes to Terms

EduConnect may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
